Merivale Photographic Studio

I am a partner in the Merivale Photographic studio, which means that I don’t own the studio, nor do I work there full time. Rather, I’m one of a small group of photographers who rent the space from studio owner by Robert McAlpine.

Where to Find Us

The studio located on the second floor of 1489 Merivale Rd, Nepean, ON, Suite 102. Parking is available in the back and bus stop 4489 (Merivale/Gilbey) is located just outside the front door and serviced by the 80 bus.

Studio Rental

The studio space is also available for hourly rental. To rent the space, contact studio owner Robert McAlpine

When requesting studio rental, please include your preferred date and time, and Robert will do his best to accommodate your request.

Studio rental includes use of our Godox lighting equipment and lighting modifiers. We provide Godox strobe triggers for most major camera types so all you need to bring is your camera, yourself, and someone to photograph.

Workshops and Group Photoshoots

In addition to being a shared photographic space, we regularly host photographic workshops and group photoshoots, mostly through the following Meetup groups:

• Ottawa Photography Meetup; and
• Ottawa Model Photography Special Interest Group (private group, requires membership in Ottawa Photography Meetup)
