A woman with long auburn hair wearing a black tape bikini reclines in shallow water, her right arm raised to her head, with a shoreline in the distance.

Photo Series: Tape Body Art

According to The Black Tape Project tape body art “…transforms the body into a living canvas…”1. Twenty years later, the art form is still going strong. I’ve been doing my own variants of the designs for more than a decade, and you can see many of my designs on the promotional gallery at the bottom of this page.

I use a combination of acrylic (electrical) tape and metallic tape with skin-safe adhesive. Occasionally, I offer workshops demonstrating tape application.

If you are interested in modelling a tape body-art piece then feel free to contact me.
